After nearly a decade working in the Chicago tattoo community, Mike is excited to open his first shop in Ravenswood where he can provide a welcoming and creative space for all. Illustrative Blackwork and American Traditional are Mike's two specialties.  Growing up as a skateboarder he was very inspired by graphics on the bottom of each skateboard.  Artists such as Salvador Dali, M.C. Escher and Ralph Steadman are some of his favorites.  Mike has a background in Fine Art and Illustration.  In the past Mike has worked as a painting instructor and very much enjoys using color in his work when the opportunity arises.
